History-

Burrow came from a neglect situation. He was extremely underweight and his tail was covered in sores. Burrow has been with us since January 2024. He does have a liver condition that requires special diet and medication.

Personality-

Burrow is a total sweetheart and full of energy. He loves to play fetch and even brings the ball right back to you. Due to his liver condition he does have OCD and spins to chase his tail, we like to refer to this as dancing. He does not to this all the time, but he does do it. He will relax and lay down in his foster’s office while she working. He is more water motivated than food! He is potty trained and does pretty good on a leash. He loves car rides and will lay down in the back seat when on a car ride.

Cohabitation-

He currently resides with other shepherds. However, some of the resident shepherds have dominant personalities and these are ones he can’t be out with. This foster does not have cats to test with. Burrow does not realize his size and may bulldoze small children over, especially if his favorite toy is involved - balls!

Favorite Activities-

He loves to play fetch and he’s excellent at it. He also enjoys going on walks.

Medical-

Burrow has liver shunts. Because of this he requires a special diet and daily medication. We also don’t know what his life expectancy will be with his liver shunts.
